Social Purpose Corporation

Purism is a Social Purpose Corporation, bound by our articles of incorporation which clearly state that we cannot exploit people and must prioritize social good over profit.

Products

We are pleased to present our current lineup, which includes Librem laptops, a Librem server, the Librem Key, as well as the Librem 5 and Liberty phones. Through strategic business negotiations, we have secured licenses for reference designs and have pre-funded all necessary tooling, enabling us to engage in small-scale fabrication, albeit at a higher per-unit cost. While this process is indeed costly, it remains feasible.

We are committed to expanding our product offerings in the future.

Country of origin

Purism SPC is headquartered in San Francisco, California, USA.

Purism finalizes assembly, quality control tests, and delivers all our hardware from our fulfillment center in Carlsbad, California, USA. “Final assembly” includes customizing the base hardware with any upgrades the customer ordered, flashing boot firmware, and installing PureOS.

Purism has employees, contractors, and volunteers from around the world.
