Overview

The Librem 5 is a fully-unlocked phone, not restricted to any particular network. Only the BroadMobi BM818 modem is supported at this time.

Not all bands may be available in your area. Using frequencycheck.com, you can determine which cellular bands are supported by your carrier in your country.

To determine which LTE bands are available from cell towers in your area, you can look at cellmapper.net. Additionally, if you call your carrier they may tell you which LTE bands are available in your area but they also may not divulge this information.

Note that some carriers do not allow devices on their networks unless devices are approved by themselves.
