Rear cover removal

Proper electrostatic discharge (ESD) precautions should be taken, such as ensuring that you are grounded, before removing the rear cover of the phone and handling components within.

To remove the cover:

1. Place the phone on a flat surface with the screen facing down.

2. Gently detach the cover from the back of the phone, starting at the corner with the gap between the cover and the chassis.

3. Slide a fingernail or a thin piece of plastic around the edge to unclip the cover.
