Touchscreen

Check firmware version

1. Ensure the screen is powered on. The next steps will return garbage otherwise.

2. Open a terminal window.

3. Run the following command:

   sudo cat /sys/kernel/debug/edt_ft5x06/lic_version /sys/kernel/debug/edt_ft5x06/fw_version
   

   The touchscreen firmware is up-to-date if the output is:

   2
   

   or

   2
   3
   

Update firmware

Touchscreen firmware currently resides within a private repository not intended for public dissemination. Contact the Support department (support@puri.sm) for touchscreen firmware troubleshooting.
