Compatibility¶
Librem AweSIM cellular services leverage the AT&T backhaul network. AweSIM users should experience the same network coverage as shown on the AT&T coverage map.
Known issues¶
Librem AweSIM only works with calls originating from the USA. For example, it cannot receive calls to numbers registered in Canada or Mexico but will send calls to numbers registered within Canada and Mexico.
Existing AweSIM accounts may operate in Puerto Rico, but line activation for Puerto Rican residents is not supported at this time.
Roaming is not supported at this time.
Apple iMessage / Google RCS de-registration often affects AweSIM customers, because those numbers are ported in to Librem AweSIM. We cannot unregister users on their behalf for technical reasons (we must receive an SMS from either Apple or Google, and at no point do we control the user’s phone number).

If you do not notice any service interruption, it is safe to ignore this message. If service is affected, please contact the Wireless Support department (wireless_support@puri.sm).
Review the list of supported networks to verify if your region is supported on the Librem 5.
