Changing the GNOME compositor
=============================

GNOME is the default desktop environment in PureOS, which by default leverages the `Wayland`_ compositor.

If you need to run apps that are not yet ported to work on Wayland, you can launch a GNOME session using Xserver instead.
To do this, click the gear icon on your login screen and select **GNOME on Xorg**:
