.. _librem_one_pureos_vpn: .. _liberty_services_pureos_vpn: Librem Tunnel ============= Install Librem Tunnel in PureOS ------------------------------- 1. Verify that the pre-requisite package ``network-manager-openvpn-gnome`` is installed. * Open a terminal window and run the command ``dpkg -l network-manager-openvpn-gnome``. The output will contain the text ``ii network-manager-openvpn-gnome`` if already installed. * If it is not installed, run the command ``sudo apt install -y network-manager-openvpn-gnome`` to install it. 2. Verify that the Librem Tunnel service is activated. * Visit ``_ * Log in to your account * Activate the *tunnel service* if not already active 3. Retrieve your Librem Tunnel credentials and *.ovpn* file. See: :ref:`librem_one_generic` 4. Open *Settings* → *Network*. Under the *VPN* category, click the **"+"** button to add new connection, then select **Import from file...**: .. image:: img/LibremTunnel/Tunnel_PureOS_01.png :alt: import conn 5. Select the *.ovpn* file and click the **"Open"** button. An *Add VPN* dialog window will appear. Click on the right side of the top bar in PureOS 2. Select the option **"VPN Off"** 3.
