Inside the Phone

You will need to open the phone to replace or install certain hardware components, such as the battery and the WWAN module. Although this should not normally be necessary -- see the :ref:`librem_5_troubleshooting` guide before opening up the phone -- the following sections describe how to access and replace these components.
