Firmware

Touchscreen
-----------

To check touchscreen firmware:

#. Ensure the screen is powered on.
   The next steps will return garbage otherwise.
#. Open a terminal window.
#. Run the following command:

   .. code-block:: bash

      sudo cat /sys/kernel/debug/edt_ft5x06/lic_version /sys/kernel/debug/edt_ft5x06/fw_version

   The touchscreen firmware is up-to-date if the output is:
